Pallet Potting Bench Creation

I always thought there was something I could do with pallets, I just wasn't quite sure what it was.
A while back I started seeing things people made from pallets on Pinterest and it got my mind rambling.
It wasn't long afterwards that I brought  a few of them home.  I had two thoughts and the first one didn't work out and I almost gave up and threw them away.  But after a couple of days,  I picked them up and started playing around and positioning them into place.  I needed a place to work outside and plant plants etc. and this is the product of my imagination.

First I have to show you the space before.  It was nothing...just empty and begging for something to be put there.
It has gone through a couple of re-designs.  At first the pallets were just their natural color.
As most of you bloggers know,  those of us who like to decorate just can't leave something without color, so I painted it an olive green so it would match our trim on our house.

It has actually taken me about 2 months to post this because I think it looks much cuter in person.

This is the right side where my tools and supplies are kept.
This is the left side where I do the work.
So there it is.  This is what I call my garden potting bench. Perfect for re-planting plants and stuff.
Have a great weekend!

  6. Love your cheery space for potting plants! You did a great job of re-imagining the pallets and filling the area with adorable accessories and pops of color. I would love to have a spot like this. Great job!
