The Hustle and Bustle of a big city

Last weekend I was in Chicago for a quick visit.  I had no idea it was as large as it was, I guess you could say I've been living under a rock for a while. Anyway, we took a day to visit the Navy Pier on the lake and had to drive through downtown to get there.  Oh my gosh.... the buildings were humongous and old and ornate and beautiful..  There were so many people walking around...like little ants under these buildings just doing what they do. I don't know for sure, but there might be something to living in a small town.

I'm posting more pictures of my trip under my "Let's Go Somewhere" page if you'd  like to see more.

  1. These photos are wonderful! Whenever my girls travel, they like to take lot of pictures of old buildings and sites. The old historic churches are their favorite, and they even stop to go to mass in them sometimes.
