Yesterday, I did a post titled "Ready, Set..." , today is the "Set" part.
(uh oh, there's a chest project in waiting in the background, more on that later)
I have rounded up my little collection of Fall items with warm colors looming,
and cute little pumpkins waiting to be placed.
Most of the time I keep my Fall decorations up right on through Halloween. It's just my personal preference...I like to celebrate Fall instead of Halloween.
As far as decorating for the Fall, this year I want to do something a little different that just the original Fall colors.
But...you'll just have to wait to see what it is.
Oops, I think the witch legs are a little out of place this year. They may have to go back to the storage...we'll see.
So with all my Fall decorations staring me in my face every time I go out on my back porch, I'll have to do something real soon to get Fall started around here.
Oooh I cant wait to see!
ReplyDeleteI'm like you, I celebrate autumn and its beauty and colours. Halloween just kind of slips by (of course, it didn't when I was a kid..lol)
Have a great week!
Deborah :)
Hey there Deborah, thanks for stopping by. Of course Halloween was a very important holiday as a kid. Are you kidding me...candy galore!
DeleteWhat great decorations!!! Already in the spirit I envy you. It is hard to get in the spirit when we are still fighting 90+ degree weather!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and leaving your sweet comment. It is so funny when you are young you can't wait to grow older but when you get older you wish you could be young again :)
Suzann ~xoxo~
Hey Suzann, I completly understand about the 90% thing. I think today was 92%. I don't know why I jumped in this early. Sometimes I just get the bug and sometimes I just don't. But it has been fun so far.
Deletecan't wait to see what ideas you come up with
ReplyDeleteThanks Ruby!
DeleteYour Fall decorations are lovely. I am so ready for Fall too. I did a Fall post already. I am like you in that I keep my Fall decorations up until Halloween. I look forward to seeing your original Fall idea.

Thanks Sheri! I just stopped by your blog and love your post.
ReplyDeleteLove your decorations and I can't wait to see what you do. I'm starting to dig through my stuff to see what new "stuff" I need to buy - I mean make, of course. At least there was a bit of a breeze today to help get us in the mood.
ReplyDeleteFran
We had a little breeze today too and it was nice. Have fun shopping if you need to go out and buy more Fall things.
DeleteBeautiful decorations!I don't decorate for Halloween anymore since my kids are all grown up now, but I enjoy seeing everybody's ideas and creativity. Can't wait to see everything you do for Fall!
