I don't like to talk about it much, but it is what it is...August 2012, I "celebrated" my 50th birthday.
I wont elaborate much on it but I did want to share a couple of photos.
I thought this cake was so cute.
I asked for it and I got it.
Isn't she a beauty?
Now what do I do?
I have no clue what this dial says or means.
What do these numbers mean?
Ahh, Nikon... there's something I recognize.
????
I'm a little scared!
My old point and shoot showed my picture on the screen. This one just shows me more numbers!
OK, a case, now we're getting somewhere.
Wait a minute...a second lens?
It really is a great package and I can't wait to learn to use it.
Speaking of learning to use it...I'm going to take classes with the gal who took my son and his fiance's engagement pictures, so excited about that! I'm sure I'll share my experiences with it later. But let me introduce you to her....
I love her work!
Last but not least, spending time with family for my big day was the best. (My Father -n-law, my middle son and my daughter and me.)
I still can't believe it...50!
Don't worry about the 5 and the 0! Be happy... happy 50!!! Your birthday cake looks cute and soooo yummy! Congrats to your new Nikon too! Great for making a lot of happy pictures :-))
